What is the Haven Thrives Program?

At Haven Landing™, our Thrive initiative exists to empower individuals with unique abilities to live fuller, more independent lives. We believe growth is possible for everyone when given the right tools, guidance, and compassionate support. Thrive is more than a program. It's a journey, and we're honored to walk it with you.

What is an SLC?

A Supported Living Coach (SLC) helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) learn the skills needed to live as independently as possible.

SLCs provide guidance, training, and encouragement in areas such as budgeting, meal preparation, community safety, communication, and daily decision-making. The goal is to promote confidence, independence, and inclusion. Helping each person thrive in their home and community.

Who is the Haven Thrives Program For?

Haven Landing™ is currently in development and preparing to open soon. Our supported living coaching program is being designed to provide individualized, hands-on guidance that supports each person’s goals, strengths, and independence.

When launched, this service will focus on empowering clients to build meaningful daily routines, develop essential life skills, and navigate their communities with confidence and purpose.

Our future program will include support in areas such as:

Building daily living and independent living skills
Navigating social and community settings
Enhancing employment readiness and vocational training
Establishing structure and healthy home routines
Strengthening personal hygiene, communication, and self-advocacy skills
