At Haven Landing™, our admission process is designed to be simple, supportive, and personalized. It begins with a one-on-one intake meeting to learn about each individual’s goals, strengths, and support needs. Participants are invited to tour our space or try a class to experience our programs firsthand. Together, we’ll develop a personalized success plan and complete enrollment. From there, you officially become a Haven Lander — where every ability belongs.
Yes. At Haven Landing™, our team, known as The Landing Crew, is fully insured and trained in accordance with Florida Medicaid and Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) standards. All ABA services and behavior support practices follow BACB compliance requirements, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and ethical care.
Every staff member is CPR and First Aid certified, meeting all Florida state health and safety requirements. Beyond initial certifications, we provide ongoing professional development, supervision, and continuing education to ensure our team remains equipped, informed, and compassionate in supporting each participant’s unique goals and needs.
At Haven Landing™ our programs are designed to support individuals seeking personal growth, social connection, life skills development, and inclusive recreation opportunities.
We recognize that every individual’s journey is unique, which is why we welcome all abilities and conduct an initial assessment to ensure each participant is matched with the services and supports that best align with their goals.
If you’re unsure whether our programs are the right fit, we’d be happy to schedule a tour or intake meeting to explore the best path forward together.
At Haven Landing™, we comply with all Florida Medicaid and Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) regulations governing service billing, payments, and reimbursements.
1. Medicaid & APD-Funded Services
All Medicaid and APD-funded services (including Supported Living Coaching, Adult Day Training, and ABA) are billed directly through the approved authorization process. These services are not eligible for refunds to individuals or families. In the event of an overpayment, billing error, or payment dispute, Haven Landing will follow AHCA and APD procedures for resolution and, when necessary, return funds directly to the appropriate agency.
2. Private-Pay & Community Programs
For private-pay programs (such as adaptive swim, recreational activities, or community events), refunds may be requested in writing within 10 business days of the original payment. Refunds are subject to review and may be issued as a program credit or refunded to the original payment method within 14 business days, depending on the circumstance.
